Linda S. Van Brunt, 80, of Florida, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on November 11.
Linda was born in Long Branch and raised in Oceanport. She graduated from Long Branch High School in 1959 and immediately began her career as a secretary at Fort Monmouth. She would marry the love of her life, Edward, on February 6th, 1971, and settle in Oceanport to raise their family. She enjoyed scrapbooking, animals, cooking, and bowling.
Linda is predeceased by her loving husband Edward Van Brunt.
Linda is survived by her son Troy Van Brunt and his wife Jeanina, her grandson Xander, and her brother James Landau.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 20th, from 12:00 – 4:00 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. A service will be offered Monday, November 21st at 10 am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda’s memory to Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
