Lucille Ondrush, 90, of Holmdel, died on Friday, July 24.

Lucille was born and raised in Holmdel to the late Christina and Antonio Casola. She was a lifelong Holmdel resident and proprietor of Ondrush Farms market. She was a devout Catholic and parishioner of Saint Catherine’s of Holmdel.

She is predeceased by her husband, Phillip Ondrush.

Lucille is survived by her children, Phillip Ondrush (Bonnie) of Holmdel, and Christina Cummings (Jerome) of Ashburn, Va., five grandchildren (Jaclyn, Jerome, Ryan, Melissa, and Lauren, along with five great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, July 29 at 10:30 am at the Church of Saint Catharine, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.

I am so sorry to hear about Lucille passing . My condolences to the family . I warmly called her The Fig Lady . Every year for the past twenty years or so, she would call me to come and get the Figs . I have very Fond memories of Lucille . She had an amazing strong personality . I will miss her dearly .

Paul & always enjoyed our trip out to the farm. Always the freshest corn, tomatoes, apples & their own beef was the best. It was always lovely to have a short visit. Our Lab Brodie loved his apple on the way home. Our sincere condolences to her family.
