Margaret P. Thynne, 71 of Morganville, died on Dec. 31st at the Center For Hospice, Scotch Plains.
She was born and raised in Jersey City and graduated from Schneider High School. Margaret enjoyed interior decorating, shopping anywhere, especially to provide gifts to her grandchildren. She enjoyed doing crafts, her flower gardens as well as Hollywood Gossip. She loved birds and always enjoyed the Blue Jay’s and Cardinal’s in her yard. She loved the music of the 60’s especially the Temptation’s, Beach Boys, 4 Tops and Gloria Gaynor. Margaret was a parishioner of St. Benedict’s RC Church, Holmdel.
After raising her children, Margaret returned to school, and became a LPN, graduating from the nursing school at Brookdale College, Lincroft.
She is survived by her husband, Willian J. Thynne, Jr., together on June 5th of 2021, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary; their children, Kelly and Louis Mari, Mendham and William J. Thynne, III, Morganville; her sister Palma Rabbitt, Mendham; 3 grandchildren, Joseph, Gia and Dylan.
Visitation, Friday, Jan. 7th, 8:45 till 9:15 am, at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Mass of Christian burial, Friday at 10 am at St. Benedict RC Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.
