Dear John, I was truly saddened to read about Marie's passing. Even though it has been over a year since I saw both of you I often thought of you - especially when I was passing through your neck of the woods. You were some of the kindest and most generous people I have met. All the clothing you so happily donated to Birthright clothed many of our babies over the years and we are so grateful for your generous spirit. I know how much you both enjoyed shopping for all that clothing and it was fun for me to accept it and see your excitement when showing me some of the special outfits. It has been my pleasure knowing you both. May God bless Marie and all the Kokindas.

Büsia, Thank you for all of the wonderful memories that you've been a part of throughout the years! We were truly blessed to have you in our lives. Your unique character has always kept us on our toes and given us things to laugh about through the years. Oh, how I will miss you yelling at me that my skirt is too short. Growing up, I always knew that I could count on you and Grandpa to be there for milestone celebrations, the holidays, and grammar corrections. Most importantly though, even through our disagreements, I've never doubted how much you loved us. You and Grandpa have taught me so much about life, and for that, I'll be eternally grateful. Although it hurts so much to know that you won't physically be here for any more holidays or to watch your great-grandchildren grow up. I'm comforted to know that you're no longer suffering and in a much better place, than the rest of us. I hope that you know what an impact you've made on our family and how loved you are. Oh, how I wish you could've met your youngest great-grandbaby, Aurora Marie, and seen how much our Annaliese Rose has grown. I wish you knew how much we've missed you over the past year. Life is too short, but I'm happy that you were here for as long as you were. I hope you're enjoying the beauty up in heaven, maybe you're even drawing pictures of it. Until we meet again, I love you! ??❤???❤?? Grandpa, I'm deeply sorry for your loss and want you to know that we're all here for you, whatever you need. We love you so much! Sincerely and With Love, Jena

Was so saddened to hear of Marie's passing. Met Marie many years ago when she and John so graciously hosted RENEW meetings at their home. She never failed to keep in touch with her thoughtful notes and Christmas Holiday Potlucks. I know she will be missed not only by family, but many friends. Pray she is resting in peace.
