Mary “Cindy” Stanfield, 65 of Aberdeen, died on Sunday, April 3.
Cindy was born in 1956 to the late Anne J. And Stephen Nolan in Brooklyn, NY. Her family moved to Aberdeen in 1966 where she was raised. Cindy graduated from St. John Vianney and then nursing school at Charles E. Gregory in Perth Amboy. She worked for Raritan Bay Medical Center as an ER nurse for over 25 years and retired as Radiology nurse.
Cindy enjoyed watching movies and listening to music. She was an avid soccer mom to her two sons whom she supported enthusiastically. Cindy was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Benedict’s church where she served as a CCD teacher for many years. She, most of all, loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband Ronald Stanfield, her parents, and nephew Matthew Guerriero.
Surviving are her two sons, Justin and his wife Danielle Stanfield of Old Bridge, and Eric Stanfield and his fiancée Krista of Hoboken, her siblings Sue Guerriero (Tom), Stephen Nolan Jr., Ellen Gray (Bill), Lisa Javier (Dwayne), her cherished nieces and nephews, and her beloved grandson Finn.
Visitation Wednesday, April 6 from 5pm-8pm at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, April 7 at 10am at St. Benedicts Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel. Cremation will be private.
