Mary Yolanda Gagliano, 94, of Gravesend, Brooklyn passed away late Tuesday night at Jersey Shore Medical Center.
Mary Yolanda (or more frequently known as Yolanda or Yo to most) was born and raised in Gravesend, Brooklyn and attended Abraham Lincoln High School. Yolanda came from a family of nine siblings and they remained a close family throughout their lives. She loved living in Brooklyn and being in close proximity to her family and closest friends. She always cared about looking and being her very best. Always adorned by her signature beehive hairdo and always fashionable. She took pride in all she did especially her children, home and her Italian cooking. One of the best in Brooklyn! She thoroughly enjoyed Sunday dinners which would include anyone who would stop by as well as everyone who was available and in the neighborhood.
