Maureen R. Vitale, 76 of Palm City, Florida, died on Monday August 6, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Hazlet.

Mrs. Vitale was born Brooklyn and she and her husband Ronnie lived on Staten Island for many years. They also had a vacation home in the Poconos. She and Ronnie became snowbirds in 1986, buying a home in Palm City, Fl., where they became full time residents in 1997.

Maureen enjoyed going to the gym, running and playing tennis. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She was a parishioner of Holy Redeemer Church, Palm City, where she was a member of the Woman’s Guild.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Vitale, Maureen and Ronnie went on their first date on her 15th birthday and in October would have been married for 56 years; their loving children, Lisa and Michael Borghese, Middletown, Susan and Samuel Conanan, Hazlet and James and Sherrie Vitale, Staten Island; and her adoring grandchildren, Michelle and Christina Borghese, Alyssa, Jenna and Daniella Conanan, James Pepino, Elena Vitale and Amanda, Chelsea and Marissa Traversa.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, August 9th, 10 am at St. Benedict’s RC Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, NJ.
