Michael Charles Bury, 94, of Brick, NJ and Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on December 15, 2022.

Michael was born in Providence, Rhode Island to the late Michael and Catherine Bury on October 14, 1928. He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.  Michael earned a master’s degree from Montclair State College in school administration and supervision and retired from his 41 year career in education as principal of Washington School in Union NJ in 1990.

Michael is survived by his wife Joan, to whom he was married for 49 years, three sons, Bradford (Maria), Randy (Elizabeth), and Lance, two daughters, Ticia Byrnes (Dennis), and April Schneider, 5 grandchildren, Alicia, Randy, Lindsay, Michael, and Alexandra, 6 great grandchildren, and his brother John (Shirley). He was preceded in death by his sisters Anna and Mary.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 am, on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, Florida. An Entombment Service will be conducted by Rev. David Cotton, 11:30 am on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery in Morganville, NJ.
