Milton K. Gravatt, 78 of Long Branch passed away Thursday, February 7th at home. Mr. Gravatt was born in Neptune and raised in Wall Township. He has lived in Long Branch since 1989.
He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, serving as a Sergeant during Korea. Mr. Gravatt was a member of Local # 9 Plumbers & Steamfitters, Englishtown.
He is predeceased by his wife in 2004, Mary Lou Palumbo Gravatt, his brother, Charles Gravatt and his sister, Gladys Ingals. Mr. Gravatt is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ernest & Shari Gravatt, TX, and Michael Gravatt, Philippines; two daughters & sons-in-law, Cheryl & Paul Lopes, Jackson and Connie & Kenny Smith, Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Carol Cowles, Arizona and Sharon Adams, Ocean Grove and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, February 15th from 6:00 pm until the time of his funeral service at 8:00 pm at Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch.
