Neil Schulman, a reporter at The Coaster for the last seven months, died suddenly Tues., Oct. 26 at home. He was 46.
He was a resident of Eatontown. Neil spent his entire 28-year career in newspapers beginning in Long Branch with The Atlanticville and then The Link News as editor . He was always a professional, checking facts, dependable and an excellent writer. He had the ability to explain issues in a manner that everyone could understand.
Neil loved playing Dungons and Dragons, watching Doctor Who, reading Terry Pratchett, and sharing podcasts with his family. He was a lifelong member of Congregation Torat-El. He was attending Thomas Edison University. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are his parents Joel and Madeline Schulman and a sister, Rose.
