Anil Nanda left a message on June 5, 2026:
Dear Jessica, Valerie, and John,   We were all devastated to hear the news of Nicholas' premature departure. I had worked with him several years ago, and he was a fine young human being with so much promise for the future. Nick was detailed, kind, and personable, and always did whatever task that was given to him in a professional and timely fashion. The last time I saw him was when he was with Jessica, and they were leaving the hospital two years ago because Giancarlo had been ill. He was a caring father, and he showed his concern, and was so warm to both his son and his wife. It is difficult to express our condolences in a fitting fashion when the loss is so deep and the wound so painful.  I pray that God gives you the courage and the strength to move forward, and am certain you will see his brilliant spirit in young Giancarlo. Cardinal Newman, in his nightly prayer, would ask for safe lodging, a holy rest, and peace at the last. It is that peace at the last that we pray for Nick.  Our heartfelt condolences at this devastating loss.   Sincerely, Anil Dr. Anil Nanda

Nick was the best Brother In Law I could have ever asked for. Even through everything, he still found ways to make people laugh, dance, smile, and some of his last few words were “you gotta keep it light.” That’s who he was. Despite not knowing him for a very long time, his warm, outgoing personality made it incredibly easy to talk and catch up. I always enjoyed our friendly sports discussions on his Steelers and Yankees and my Giants and Mets. He was the definition of a great neighbor, always ready to lend a hand or look out for one another. Nick will be dearly missed. I am keeping the family in my thoughts and continued prayers. God Bless
