Dear John and family, I sat in front of Nick for 3 years as a French horn player in the Matawan H.S. Band. He was a constant source of humor and hilarity during those years.Got the whole French horn section into trouble all the time and we loved every minute of it! I was always amazed at his talent and brilliance which he covered up well with his sense of wit. I was fortunate enough to run into him after high school and we commuted to Rutgers Newark many times together, keeping me laughing the whole time. I have such fond memories of Nick and they always make me smile. Was able to see him many years later at a fellow band members house and was happy to seem him happily married and with his son. What a loss , at this age , just when we are slowing down and enjoying the fruits of our labor. I send you, the Rego family my heartfelt condolences. I will always remember him!

I wanted to express my condolences to the entire Rego family. I've worked with Nick over more than 15 years and always respected his vast knowledge of the securities business as well as his phenomenal sense of humor and wonderful personality. I had spoken with him a few weeks back and was so shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. May you be comforted by your wonderful memories of this warm and caring man.
