Nick Lembesis passed away, leaving behind a legacy of intelligence, humor, compassion, and a deep appreciation for life’s adventures. Born in Jersey City on April 28, 1961, to Anna Rozanitis and Tom Lembesis, Nick remained a proud New Jerseyan throughout his life.

From his years at St. Peter’s Prep and Rutgers University to his adulthood in Colonia and Red Bank, Nick built lifelong friendships and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Exceptionally well-read and endlessly curious, he possessed a remarkable intellect paired with a quick wit that could brighten any conversation. Those who knew Nick admired not only his intelligence, but also the warmth, generosity, and humor with which he shared his knowledge.

Nick had a passion for traveling and loved experiencing new places and cultures. He was also an avid horse racing enthusiast, finding excitement in the sport and enjoying the stories and history that surrounded it.

Above all else, Nick had an extraordinary love for animals. His beloved dog, Bagel, held a special place in his heart, and their bond reflected the kindness and loyalty that defined Nick’s character. His compassion for animals was one of his greatest qualities and something those closest to him will always remember.

Nick is lovingly survived by his mother, Anna Rozanitis, sister, Dina Schwartz, niece, Jacquelyn Schwartz, and nephew, Andrew Schwartz who will forever cherish his memory and the love they shared.

Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain with all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 7th from 10:00-12:30 at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Rd, Holmdel Nj 07733. A service will be offered at 12:30.
