Nick was one of those rare people who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. I was incredibly fortunate to have him as my manager, mentor, and friend. He believed in me, encouraged me, and gave me opportunities to grow. His confidence in others inspired us to believe in ourselves. I'll always remember not only his leadership, but also his warmth, his kindness, his warm, handsome smile that could light up a room. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome, valued, and like they truly belonged. Nick didn't just build a team—he built a family. I will always treasure the memories we shared, including the times he and Pat so graciously welcomed us into their home. Those moments meant more than words can express. Pat, my heart is with you and your family. Thank you for sharing Nick with all of us. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, and he will forever hold a special place in my heart. Rest in peace, Nick. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten. xoxo Yvonne

Dear Pat and family, I am so sorry to hear this news. Nick was one of my first friends when I started at NYTel in 1982. He was so kind and helpful, back when I knew nothing. We used to have fun telling people "oh you must mean the other NF." Through all the years I knew him, he would give this big happy smile when he saw me. He was such a good guy and a good friend. I will keep your family in my prayers. RIP, NF.

I, along with so many others, was truly blessed to have Nick come into our lives—not only as our manager at Verizon, but as a dear friend. Nick welcomed each and every person he managed with kindness, respect, and encouragement. He was an extraordinary person who inspired us to excel through his guidance and always believed in our individual talents. He never hesitated to let us demonstrate our skills, and because of his leadership, our success soared. Nick brought us together not just as coworkers, but as family. He graciously welcomed us into his home, and Pat was just as kind, warm, and generous to all of us. Nick will always hold a special place in our hearts. ❤️ Pat, please remember that you are always welcome to reach out to our Verizon family at any time. We love and cherish you both, and you will always be part of our family. With love and respect, Rosemary

Pat and Family, I was so sorry to hear of Nick’s passing. We worked together in the 80s and learned a lot from each other. My condolences go out to you all on the loss of this very special man. Rest in peace, Nick. Love, Mary Hynes

Nick was a wonderful "boss" at Verizon to me and my team. I treasured our time working together. He surprised me at a conference with an award for a webinar I was teaching to our customers. When I announced my retirement Pat and Nick were kind enough to welcome our team to their home. He has been in my thoughts and now I know why. My condolences to the family xxoo

If one is very lucky, one’s path crosses with that of a special breed. The ones who walk with quiet confidence, who laugh easily, who are honest, dependable and loyal, who treat all with respect. Nick was one of those people - while our lives didn’t intersect over the past twenty years, his impact on my life was significant when we worked together. I admired him and send prayers of comfort to Pat, his children and grandchildren and everyone else who loved him.

Besides his good looks he was genuinely just as handsome on the inside. He truly was one of the "good guys" & everyone that knew him, knew that. He had a quiet way of doing good & never looked for compensation or praise for his work. He just helped people who needed help because that's the kind of man he was. As his sister in law, I will miss him deeply. There is no doubt in my mind that Heaven is where he will live for eternity.
