Loren, I am so sorry for your loss. I just learned of this tragic loss to mankind this morning. To say Nick had a big personality and a big heart could not be a bigger understatement to who Nick was. He was a giant of a man and I only wish; I had one last chance to tell him that in person. My only solace is that his soul is in the warm embrace of God in heaven. Rest in peace my friend.

Loren, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I met your dad through my dad Bill Whitehead who worked together but more importantly became good friends. Nick was a wonderful, generous soul and he will be missed.

Loren - Be proud of all your father did for you and everyone else. He worked and played hard to enjoy life. I worked with him on a number of projects and had many discussions with him about the New Jersey Shore. His Sandy Hook print has a central place in my office and my heart. My condolences.

Loren, my deepest condolences to you and your family. I do not have to tell you that you had your father’s complete love and he was pushing to always assure you were safe, secure and he was there for you. And I know he was. Nick was a giant among men and a visionary. He had a storied life coming from a wonderful set of parents that adored him. He was proud of his background and heritage and his upbringing as a native New Yorker. He excelled in everything the touched whether it was his hobbies that became world renowned and respected sub careers including his art and photography or whether it was developing businesses from nothing with Mat and Don at his side. He made us all feel like we had him as our father when we needed him. And we needed him… He was giving and made you feel like the most important person in the world when he was with you. Not just the room. There are too many stories and memories to encapsulate in a novel…because he was one person in your life that had a burning fire and life in everything he did. That is not something you can replicate or replace. Nick we all love you and hope there is another side to this, because so many of us were not done, however in the meantime rest easy. Loren, It is so sad to learn of your Dad’s passing. He was a great man, and a true friend of my recently departed husband, Bill. I’m sure the two of them will be the mayors in Heaven. Though we haven’t seen you in years, since skating and your 16th birthday, Megan and I follow your stories and fall in love with the history and beauty of all your jewelry. Your Dad was so proud of you and all your accomplishments. He truly loved traveling with you and was so excited for your future and his future son-in-law and of course, Grand Puppy. Nick was a wonderful man. He was kind, generous and caring. When I was at my worst, he took care of me like I was family and always made me laugh. RIP Nick You'll be dearly missed

We have no words. My husband's bestie and one of my dearest friends has left us way too soon. The 3 of us have laughed and cried together over the years. We are cherishing all the good memories of our Harley days together, the special trips we took, the countless dinners and the many many many hours of conversation. My condolences to Nick's family particularly Loren who he spoke of often. Nick was a friend for 30+ years and a friend I will miss so much. A wonderful man with a tremendous sense of humor and a hearty laugh. The insurance industry lost a valuable mind that truly understood insurance and its various distribution systems. I will miss my talks with Nick and his expertise. Rest in peace Nick.
