Pasquale J. “Pat” Brescia, 85, of Holmdel, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Pasquale moved to Holmdel in 1985, where he was a dedicated husband, parent, coach, and member of the community for 41 years.

Mr. Brescia retired following a successful career in management with Prudential Insurance Company in New York. He and his beloved wife and children also cherished spending time at their home in Sarasota, Florida, where they created many treasured memories together.

Pasquale is survived by his wife of 45 years, Toni; his son, Joseph Brescia, and his wife, Liana; his daughter, Stephanie Brescia, and her husband, Chuck Santo; his three beautiful grandchildren; and his sister, Eileen Wohl, and her husband, Hank.

The Brescia family extends their deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and members of Pasquale’s care team who provided loving care and compassion to him during his final years.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Pasquale’s life on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ 07733.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, NJ 07733. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery and Mausoleum in Holmdel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Hospital for Children in Bayside, NY 11360.
