The loss of a parent leaves a void that words cannot fill. Please accept my heartfelt condolences, and may you find comfort in the arms of those who care about you.

I can hardly remember a time when Patty was not in my life, having met her in second grade when my parents and she and Spencer were building homes on Rocky Top Court. We have so many funny Patty stories...panicked .phone calls to my dad to kill bugs, getting our help to find the lost Bitzie, thrills and spills (all unintended!) on the ski slopes....all of which warm my heart. She was warm and kind, and fun and spunky, and she loved her family, oh so much. My deepest condolences to all of you in the loss of a beautiful person.

Unfortunately, I did not get an opportunity to spend much time with my Aunt Patti. But from a distance and from comments from those who knew her personally, I know she was very special. The few times I was in her presence she filled the room with joy and positivity. My sincerest condolences to all her family and many close friends who will dearly miss her.

Mrs. Patty was a truly special woman whose kindness, warmth, and compassionate spirit touched my life. It was an honor to work for her while caring for her beloved husband, Spencer Gaines. She always made me feel appreciated, respected, and welcomed. Her love for her family and the care she showed others will never be forgotten. Although she is no longer with us, the memories she created and the impact she had on everyone who knew her will live on forever. My heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences go out to the entire Gaines family during this difficult time. May God surround you with His peace, comfort, and strength, and may Mrs. Patty’s beautiful legacy continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved her. Rest peacefully, Mrs. Patty. You will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My family was blessed to call her Aunt and Great Aunt Patty. She was my father’s baby sister. She came to our home in Oak Forest IL when she went for United Airlines interview. She asked me to trim this microscopic hangnail before she left. Always perfect!

I will never forget you and your beauty. When I was a little girl going to visiting you and Uncle Spencer in Park City it created such a love for the mountains and inspiration and drive for me to work hard so I could be just like you someday. Sending all my love and prayers to you up in heaven with Uncle Spencer. I love you so deeply

Dear Laurie and Jennifer. I cannot express my sorrow at the loss of your beloved mother and my dear friend. Patty and I shared so much of our lives from the day we met and moved into our Holmdel Homes the same day. Together we shared the joys and sorrows of raising our families, losing our parents and spouses and celebrating our grandchildren. I will miss her always. Love Janet
