Patricia Susan Hough, 77, of Eatontown, died on Thursday, June 25, 2026
Patricia was born in the Bronx, NY to Rita and John Lees, Sr. She spent her early years in the Bronx before the family moved to Elmsford, NY where she attended and graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School. Patricia went on to receive an associate’s degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburg, PA. After her studies, she began working for Gaestner as the advertising director responsible for many of their graphics used in ads. Later, she was married and moved to Croton-on-Hudson, NY where she raised her 2 sons and began teaching. After many good years in Croton, she moved to Interlaken, NJ and started working as a car porter at Red Bank Volvo. She subsequently joined some friends to work at the Goddard School of Hazlet, eventually becoming a part-owner with them.
Patricia had a passion for fishing that she started at an early age with her father and brother and eventually passed onto her sons and many others. She loved children and found a calling as a teacher in NY and in NJ. , She also enjoyed various hobbies like playing golf, cooking, traveling, and painting. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents, her son, Patrick Hough, and her brother, John J. Lees, Jr.
Surviving her is her son, Ryan Hough of Macon, GA, and her three grandchildren Darcy, Frankie, and Jackie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 29 from 4pm – 7pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. A funeral home service will be offered at 7pm. Interment will be held privately at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
