PATRICK HAROLD FAGAN, 68, of COLTS NECK, passed away on Saturday morning, October 3rd, 2009 at his home, surrounded by his family. Born in Navan, County Meath, Ireland, Mr. Fagan lived in Old Bridge, NJ before moving to Colts Neck 20 years ago. He was a communicant of St. Mary's R.C.Church in Colts Neck. He was a member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of the Jersey Shore. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother. He is survived by his wife Mary Ita , a son Brian and his wife Cindy, a daughter Erris and her husband Eric Gutshall, a daughter Orla Fagan, his grandchildren Brian, Riley, Ailish, Kiera, and Aisling, and by his five brothers and his three sisters. Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 – South Holmdel Road, Holmdel NJ on Monday from 2 to 4 PM. Visitation will then be at St. Mary's R.C.Church, 1- Phalanx Road, Colts Neck NJ on Monday evening from 7 to 9 PM. A mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Mr. Fagan on Tuesday at 9:00AM at St. Marys R.C.Church, 1 – Phalanx Road, Colts Neck NJ. Our memories of Hal are fond and special, anytime we met was always a celebrated occasion. His generosity, enthuasiasm and exuberance was forever evident even in arduous times. He will be sadly missed and always in our thoughts and prayers. All our love and sympathy to Ita, Brian, Erris and Orla. We hope to see you all soon.

It is with the greatest of sadness that I bid farewell to a great friend and uncle. Hal touched the lives of so many people and his charitable efforts reached as far as children in Tibet. His outlook on life and wit was infectious and I like to think that it lives on in anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Hal was dignity and generosity personified. I will miss him and will never forget all the good times we had together. I would also like to extend my sincerest condolences to Ita, Orla, Erris and Brian.
