Philip J. Salvia, 66, of Holmdel, died on Saturday, October 22.
He was born and raised in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn in 1955 to the late Julia and Joseph Salvia.
Philip graduated from Fort Hamilton High School and attended Pace University while working at Drexel Burnham. He worked his way up to Vice President of Marketing in 1989 and then started a company with his partners, First Brokers Securities, where he worked as President and CEO.
Philip enjoyed working on cars, motorcycles and bikes, and especially liked corvettes. He loved good Italian food, nice clothes, and watches. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
He is predeceased by his parents, Julia and Joseph Salvia.
Surviving are his four children, Julia Rose Salvia, Joseph James Salvia, Victoria Anne Salvia, and Evelyn Reilly Salvia.
Visitation Tuesday, October 25 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, October 26 at 9:15am at the Church of St. Catharine, Holmdel. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery and Mausoleum.
