Aunt Lillian and Family, I am truly very sorry for your loss. Uncle Richard was such a good man. Even though we did not get to see him or all of you often we loved him and we love all of you very much. I think back on the times we did all get together and the fun and laughs that we had together and those are the thoughts I will cherish and remember. Hope & I love you all and we will keep you all in our prayers.

It is with great sadness that I heard of Richards passing. Unfortunately, I cant be there, but I wanted to express my feelings. It is not enough to say that he fought the good fight although he clearly did so. Rather, let us say that brave men and women can do incredible things and can keep doing them for years and years, and be much more than their affliction. In many ways, Richards fight inspired my wife Dena in her fight against cancer. As I expect was the case with Richard, the Doctors underestimated Denas ability to fight and keep going. Unfortunately, as with Dena, eventually Richard could fight no longer. We have lost two brave spirits who will be remembered.

What a special husband, father, grandfather and friend. The sentiments shared in his obituary were not only eloquent, but especially spoke of the deep heart of Richard. I for one have always been proud to know him in so many different capacities. We will cherish his memory. Richard and Lillian should be proud of the fine children they raised, and their wonderful loving children. Lillian has championed Richard's fight for all these years, and because of their influence, fortunately have had much support from their beautiful family. He will never be forgotten, and his memory will live on with his lovely wife and children. Fran and Ev Lang

David & Fran Chinn left a message on March 30, 2012:
We share in your loss and take comfort that Richard is now at peace with The Lord. Our friendship spanned 45 joyful and memorable years as our families grew and flourished. Dick was most proud of all his children and rightfully so as they all have provided Lillian and him with the most adorable grandchildren. God Bless Lillian for her patience and fortitude during Dick's lengthy battle with MS and may she receive all the blessings owed to her. We will all miss Richard but know that we'll share more memories in the future.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Richard was my mentor and role model. I have never worked for such a wonderful person. Throught my career he helped me, consoled me in tough times and was a true friend. Richard's family was who he cared for most, but he put forth the same effort to help anyone around him. He will never be forgotten. Even though this week is a sad week for all that knew Richard, we are all so very proud to have been part of his life. Our deepest condolences for your loss -- George and Barbara Novitsky
