Richard M. Loeber passed away peacefully Friday September 3rd. He was born at Riverview Medical Center and raised in Oceanport, New Jersey. He was a graduate of Shore Regional High School.

After graduating Rick worked side by side with his father running their family Hess station. He then went on to owning and operating Dairy Queen in West Long Branch along with his father and sister Jenna. Rick loved the water. Everything from surfing as a young kid to boating, fishing, collecting shells wherever he went. He loved his motorcycle and skydiving. He loved pushing and testing limits while living life to the fullest. But most of all he loved his family.

He is predeceased by his father Richard S. Loeber.

Surviving are his mother, Debbie Loeber, his son, Nicholas DiGangi, sisters Jenna Loeber and her fiancé Scott Emmons of Oceanport, Elisa Loeber of Oceanport, niece Bianca Emmons, step-nephew Casey Emmons, cousin Mark Kendall, Uncle Robert Loeber, and many more loving cousins, aunts & uncles.

At the family’s request they will be holding a private ceremony in his honor.
