Bert and i first met at the lombardi awards i won for ocean him for long branch. Later we both went to southern connecticut played there.I used to pick bert up at his house and we drive him up and back to college. I used to see him out all the time but i hadnt seen him in 20years. Bert was always a stand up guy always smiling. I am really saddened by this so young yet so many memories of those good times....

Bert you will be missed so much. Brian loved going to Nanny Toots' house spending time with the family and seeing your garden. I loved being around you with your bright smile. I know you will be gardening in heaven and watching over the family.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Grandinetti family. My heart is deeply broken for all of you. Bert was my first friend that I met when I moved to Long Branch. He always had a great sense of humor and smile. The last time I saw him, he showed me his garden. On several occasions we went out dancing and had so much fun together many years ago, he actually taught me to dance. So many good memories I'll always cherish. There are some people in life that have a special place in your heart and that was Bert. May he forever rest in peace and enjoy his eternal garden in heaven !
