Rosalind Innucci, of Farmingdale, NJ passed away peacefully, surrounded by her immediate family, at Jersey Shore Medical Center early morning of November 22, 2024.

Rosalind (Roz) was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and she married the love of her life, Nunzio, in 1957 and raised their family in Brooklyn, New York. She worked at Brooklyn College in the Performing Arts Center for 30 years and was beloved by all her colleagues.

Roz is pre-deceased by her dear son Louis Innucci, her parents Morris and Jean Brown, and her brothers Robert and Leonard Brown.

Roz is survived by her husband of 67 years Nunzio L. Innucci Sr., her daughter Jean Innucci and her husband John Shea, her son Nunzio Innucci Jr. and his wife Nina, her grandchildren Alexandria, Carla and Gianna Innucci; her great-grand daughter Giuliana and her step-grandchildren Justin and Diane Shea; her siblings Angelo Torre, Jeffrey and Terrance Brown.

Roz was an amazing and incredible wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who was always there offering support, guidance, strength, encouragement, kindness, wisdom, and love in abundance. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all.

There is a deep sense of joy that Roz has finished her race and is in the presence of the Lord whom she served faithfully for so many decades.

Visitation will be Sunday November 24 from 2:00-6:00PM and Monday November 25 from 3:00-8:00PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733. Entombment will be Tuesday, November 26 at 10:30am at Pinelawn Cemetery, Farmingdale, Long Island, New York.

I was deeply saddened over the passing and loss of my dear and cherished friend Roz. Over the nearly 40 years we worked together at Brooklyn Center, Roz became much more than a colleague to me—she became a true and abiding friend. When I lost my sister, Roz and Nunzio embraced me as part of their family, offering a kindness and love that I will never forget. Roz’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering support brought light to one of the darkest times in my life. My heart goes out to all of you. I know your pain is immeasurable, but I hope it brings some solace to know how much Roz meant to so many of us. Her memory will remain a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her and have been lucky enough to be taken under her caring and loving wing.

My heart hurts with the loss of my Aunt Rozzie and hurts for all of you. She was our mommy’s best friend from childhood. They grew up together, and we grew up with you as family. I (we) love our Aunt Rozzie. I will miss her dearly. She was a beautiful, kind, strong woman. I know our mom, Janet met her with loving arms.
