Rosemary Hornedo, 90, of Morganville, NJ passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Manhattan, and at the very young age of 18 she married the love of her life and husband, the late Fernando E. Hornedo. They went on to share the next 67 years devoted to one another.
To Rosemary family was everything. Gathering and socializing with family and friends was what she found most rewarding. She also enjoyed going on cruises, loved music, and had a flare for Latin dancing. Before retiring to Florida, Rosemary was a robotics technician for International Flavors and Fragrance for 24 years where she played an intricate role in manufacturing and developing various aromas. Rosemary is described as easy going and had a smile for every occasion.
Rosemary is survived by her son Glenn Hornedo and his wife Beatrice of Morganville, NJ; her sister Elizabeth Newman and her husband Walter of Springhill, FL. She was a grandmother to Mark Goldberg, his wife Susan and loved her great granddaughter Sophie, all of Old Bridge, NJ, and Jarrett Goldberg of Morganville, NJ. She had many nieces & nephews as well as many great nieces & nephews.
