Ruth G. Goellner, 82 of Oceanport, passed away Wednesday Nov. 7th at the Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.
Mrs. Goellner was born in East Patterson and had lived in Eatontown before moving to Oceanport in 1996. She was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church, West Long Branch, where she volunteered at the Food Pantry.
She was a Records Clerk at Ft. Monmouth. Mrs. Goellner was a member of N.C.O. wives club at Ft. Monmouth. For 40 years she worked for the Board of Elections in Eatontown.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, George in 1996.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Robert Conover, Oceanport and Elaine Shoe-Ezell and Fred Ezel, Roselle, Park; a sister Lois Ehlbeck, Pa.; three grandchildren, Josh, Kelly and Jessica; four great grandchildren, Jen, Dallas, Gabby and Madison; and one great great grandchild, Azlynn: and her special friend, Virginia Mc Mahon, Oceanport.
