I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my dear first cousin Ruthie Lowy. Ruth's father Lou and mine (Irv) were brothers, and while growing up in New Jersey with my late brother Don, my family and I were frequent guests at the home of Lou and Ida in Asbury Park, just a short walk from the beach. I will always remember Ruth's warmth, gracious spirit and hearty laughter. Even today, I remember with fondness attending the wedding of Ruth and Gene some 70 years age. I am sorry that over the ensuing years I did not see them very often. However, I did get the chance to reconnect with them if only for a short while, after we located to Florida. Veni and I still cherish the memory of the wonderful breakfast we shared with Ruth and Gene a few years ago at the Bocaire Country Club. Unfortunately, we are unable to travel to NJ for the funeral, but the entire family is in our thoughts at this time. May Ruthie's memory be for a blessing, and may the entire Lowy family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. With love and sympathy, Norm and Veni
