Sabrina Aasta Avellino, 4, Holmdel, beloved daughter of Barbara and Thomas, passed away peacefully on August 21. Sabrina has touched the hearts and souls of all who knew her. She will always be remembered with the deepest love by all who have survived her- parents Barbara and Tom, brother Sam, maternal grandparents Michael and Josephine Mitaritonna of Jackson, paternal grandparents Frank and Nancy Avellino of NYC, Winnie Lorraine Avellino (deceased), godparents Salvatore and Linda Villante, uncles and aunts Nick Mitaritonna, Michelle and Jeff Lechmanick, Joseph Avellino, Lorraine Avellino McEvoy, and many cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25 at St. Catharine's R.C. Church 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel from 11:00 to 2:00PM with a Funeral Mass beginning at 2:00PM. Internment immediately following at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Thomas and Barbara Avellino to help them during this difficult time.

Wise beyond her years. Bright, so smart I wondered if she was a KID. She knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to let you know "HOW IT WOULD BE." Had ENERGY, played to the fullest like she was on a MISION! Had to jump on the trampoline, put a puzzle together draw, read, chase a balloon, have a snack (but not TOO much) then we could watch the "SAND LOT" or the "GRINCH". She made me, my friends and family laugh, she just made the cuttest stories. Loved even her BAD moods because then I KNEW, she WAS just a kid. A beautiful, spunky, witty little lipstick wearing, shake up the world "BABY GIRL". Thank you Barb and Tom for giving me the best year ever as aide on her bus. Where she made friends and found her first sweetheart Vinnie, who we liked to call them, "the King and Queen" of Holmdel. I will always love SABRINA and will SMILE every time I think of her.
