I can not express the loss I feel with Sharon’s passing. She was and still is part of my life, since Mallik brought her in the 1970s to a party at out house. Best memories of raising our kids together and having family life together. How empty the future feels for me without her comments and laughter . I wish peace coming to all soon. Wally

To the family and friends of Sharon: I am very sorry to learn of your great loss. I had the fortune of working with Sharon from 1989 until her retirement from the MOESC. She, along with the other senior members of the Child Study Team, welcomed me into the fold and helped to train me to be part of that team. My favorite memories of Sharon are those when we were not at work. She was always very hospitable in welcoming others into her beautiful home. She was a very gracious hostess as well as generous guest of any social event. I keep a platter she gave me as a wedding present on my dining room table. I use it through the year and remember her fondly when I do. May our Good Lord have mercy on Sharon's soul, and bring her into the Light of His beautiful face. May she rest in His Peace! May the Lord's peace sustain you through this difficult time.

Henry Hieslmair left a message on October 3, 2020:
My earliest memories of Sharon were from the mid-70's when my mom and I would join Sharon, David and Jennifer at the Greens apartment where we would watch Space 1999 or SNL or some other shows. Over the next decades, I would always look forward to visits and gatherings with Sharon and Mallik. She could brighten any room with her wit and stories, and *always* made me and others feel welcome. It wasn't until I grew older, and gained some life experience, that I began to recognize the strength and character that lay underneath Sharon's charming and easy-going demeanor I often witnessed. Raising four terrific children is no easy feat. Over the same time, Sharon developed an impactful and flourishing career. No matter how stressed my family was, Sharon was able to calm us and bring out the best us. I can still imagine the fun and anticipation as Sharon would start regaling me with a story, and the soon to come punch-line. Thank you Sharon. Your memory inspires me.
