Sherry Enea, 72, of Marlboro, passed away Saturday evening, with her adoring daughter by her side.
Sherry attended Cairo University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English. She began her 20 plus year career with Mitsubishi Fertilizer, later transferring to the New York City office. She successfully opened their Mical office in Somerset, New Jersey.
Sherry lived in Queens, New York where she met her loving husband of 43 years, Tony (Melchiorre) Enea and they married on June 26, 1976. They later moved to Staten Island, then finally settling in Marlboro where they have lived happily for over 35 years. Together they raised one daughter, Monica.
Sherry was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. Her genuine love for people impacted everyone she met for the better. Every good virtue that one can dream to possess, Sherry had. She enjoyed knitting and would happily knit something for everyone she knew. She was an incredible swimmer and enjoyed time by the water. Sherry projected peacefulness and genuity throughout her life and with everyone she encountered. She was a caring, supportive and loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
Sherry is predeceased by her parents, Kamal and Ezzat Attia and her brother, Onsy Attia. She is survived by her husband, Tony of Marlboro, her daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Patrick Keller of Morganville and her loving granddaughters who were her pride and joy, Ava and Emma; her younger siblings, Bessy Attia and Ash Attia and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Heaven is the lucky one now.

Our deepest and most profound condolences to all of you. We share with you in the biggest loss of our lives! We feel your pain and disbelieve. We share in the eerieness and emptiness that suddenly entered our lives. The loss of a Mom and a spouse is heavy and I know your pain is very deep and I pray to God to mend your broken hearts. My beloved sister Sherry was snatched away from us and now she is our Angel and still sprinkling us with her love from up above. Her kindness, love and uncanny "Motherly" instinct has touched all of our lives in everyday of our lives. She is now resting with Angels and may she rest in eternal peace.
Sherry's spirit and our memories will always keep her in our minds, hearts and souls!

If everyone was just a little more like my Aunt Sherry, the world would be a much better place. Sherry was a light, an angel on Earth. My second mom away from home. Her warmth filled every room. She had the biggest heart and was always eager to share her love. Losing her has left our family with a gaping hole, heartbroken, and empty. She was taken from us much too soon. We thank God that she is no longer suffering. Heaven gained the best angel. I miss her, and I'll love her forever.
