Steven Kologi, 42, Long Branch, was tragically killed on Sunday, December 31, 2017 while celebrating New Year’s Eve with his family. Steve’s wife Linda, his daughter Brittany, and longtime family friend Mary Ann Schulz also passed away.
Steve was a lifelong resident of Long Branch. He was a truck driver for Clayton Concrete, Lakewood. A true sports enthusiast, Steve played softball in several leagues. He enjoyed body building and skiing and was an excellent pool player.
A devoted father, family was most important to Steve. He was very charismatic and was liked by everyone he met.
Surviving Steve is his father Adrian Kologi; his mother Carole Kologi-Zawacki; and his sons Jonathon Ruiz, Steven Kologi and Scott Kologi.
Visitation Sunday, January 7th 1:00 – 5:00 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, January 8th 11:00 am at St. Michael’s RC Church, 800 Ocean Avenue, Long Branch. Burial will be private.
