Sue was an incredible woman, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. What an absolutely beautiful gift to have many years of friendship. It is the very essence of life to have friends like her. Sue’s kindness and strength, great sense of humor and at the same time very tender and vulnerable nature were always a beautiful light shone on my learning about life. I have great memories of us celebrating all kind of events and sharing joy with exceptional neighbors and friends, Sue and Bob. I recall the medical situation once and asking Sue to help. She drove me to the hospital, stayed with me there, and I didn’t remember when I had ever laughed so much before. She will forever stay in my heart, my precious friend Sue. Julia, Genya and I sending heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.

So sorry to read of Sue's passing. I fondly remember the great times (and little troubles) we shared on Fredric and Lynn Drives. It was helpful to have such a caring community to raise our families. May God give you blessings and peace . Truly, Barbara

So very sorry for your loss. Sue was a friend from Ft Monmouth and throughout the years. In fact, Sue was in my wedding in 1960. We kept touch back and forth but as the years went by we drifted apart. With busy schedules of raising kids; watching them marry and then grandchildren we seldom spoke. But when we met it was like we were still friends. I will always remember her caring ways and that SMILE. Rest in Peace my friend.

I can't express how saddened I was when receiving the news of Sue's passing. I loved her as a sister-in-law who had a wonderful, loving, happy, caring personality. Sue had so much love for her family, she cared for stray animals and welcomed them into her home, she devoted much of her life caring for others in need. I loved her smile, I loved her welcoming open arms when we came to visit. And lest I forget, I loved her magnificent Italian dinners. I will miss you dearest sister-in-law. May we meet again in Heaven. Barbie

Dear Whitman family, The food pantry at Christ the King is saddened to hear about Sue's passing. Both Sue and Bob worked at our pantry for many years. Sue did in-take and Bob packed bags. Sue was instrumental in organizing pantry celebrations, Sue is shown here with Donna, one of our volunteers who was moving. With sincere and heartfelt sympathy, Donna Cetrulo
