Theresa M. “Terry” Mermini, 67 of West Long Branch, died on Monday, February 21.

She was born in Mississippi to the late Patsy and Felix Cittadino in 1954.

Terry attended St. Jerome School and graduated from Toms River High School. She met her husband Frank and together they settled in West Long Branch.

Terry was a hard worker who was always willing to help someone  in need. She had a creative mind and was very handy around the house. Most of all, Terry loved spending time with friends and family.

She is predeceased by her parents and daughter Christine Estelle. Her daughter, Kimberly Sprague passed away shortly after her death.

Surviving is her loving husband of 42 years, Frank Mermini, her son Robert Dittmar of West Long Branch, and her daughter Jessica Mermini.

In lieu of traditional remembrances, Terry’s family asks that donations in her name be made to the Monmouth County SPCA www.monmouthcountyspca.org.

A celebration of life for Theresa and her daughter Kim will be announced at a later date.
