It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Benjamin Rosati on February 16th, at the age of 38 in Pasadena, California. Thomas was born on January 6th, 1987 in Long Branch N.J., to Thomas and Nancy (Grandinetti) Rosati.
Thomas, formerly a resident of Oceanport, dedicated his early years to activities that brought him joy and fulfillment, including surfing, skateboarding, football, and baseball. In addition to being a talented athlete, he was also an artist and an Eagle Scout.
He graduated from Red Bank Catholic High School and the Art Institute of New York with a degree in Art History. Post graduation, Thomas moved to California and pursued a career in Graphic Design. Thomas was a member of the Los Angeles Recovery community for 10+ years. He dedicated so much of his time to his recovery as well as helping others; playing a vital role in helping individuals navigate the challenges of addiction. He also worked for Zoo York and Rodeo Realty.
During his time in California, he loved to explore trails through hiking and obtained his small plane pilot’s license, finding joy in flying along the California coastline. Thomas will forever be remembered as the adventurous, kind-hearted, and loyal man that he was.
Surviving Thomas are his parents, Thomas and Nancy; his siblings Michael, Carlyann, Tiffanie, and her husband Jeffrey Kurtz; his nephew Luca, his niece Cecilia, his fiancé, Meghan Hannon, and their son Leonardo Thomas Rosati. He had many aunts and uncles and cousins. Thomas is predeceased by his grandparents Helen (Tootsie) and Benjamin Grandinetti and William and Gabrielle (Omi) Rosati.
