Thomas L. Jacoubs, 76 of Long Branch passed away Tuesday February 13th at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark, NJ. Mr. Jacoubs was born in Orange, NJ and lived in Red Bank before moving to Long Branch 18 years ago. He was Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Army after serving in Korea. He received his B.A. Degree and his Master's in Education from Seton Hall University, South Orange. He received his Masters of Media Arts from University of Bridgeport. Mr. Jacoubs was a Teacher at the Dean Porter School for the Rumson Board of Education for 33 years before retiring in 1996. Mr. Jacoubs enjoyed golf and the beach, but his great joy was spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving is his wife, Roberta; two daughters and sons-in-laws, Christina and Michael Wicklund, Shrewsbury and Alexandra and Kirk Standish, Oxford, Pa.; his four grandchildren who affectionately called his 'Pappels', Thomas and Kyle Wicklund and Samantha and Teddy Standish. Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 16th, 4 to 8 pm at the Woolley Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. There will be no funeral services.
