Tim Boyle, age 71 of Holmdel, New Jersey, passed away peacefully in his home on December 2, 2024, surrounded by the love and comfort of his wife and children, after years of enduring countless battles with persistent health issues.
Tim was born February 15, 1953 in Passaic, New Jersey, to John and Irene Boyle. He grew up in Rutherford, with his sister Kathleen and his brother John. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Rutherford, where he was class President and quarterback of the football team. Tim graduated from Rutgers University in East Brunswick, where he met his wife, Laurie, whom he has been married to for 48 years. He spent 25 years working on Wall Street, where he became the first American President of the company Tullett and Tokyo. He then went on to found a software company called The Beast. He retired at the young age of 49.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Laurie; his son Jack, and daughter-in-law Lauren; his son Mike; his daughter Brenna, and son-in-law Greg; his grandchildren Sean, Louisa, Lily, Evelyn, Haven, and Ace; his sister Kathleen; his niece and nephew, Kelly and John; his mother-in-law Florence Kearney.
Tim was extremely passionate about the NFL, specifically his beloved Raiders. He never missed a football Sunday. He was also a loyal Yankees fan. He loved collecting antiques and filling the family home with beautiful pieces. He enjoyed sitting peacefully on the beach. Long Beach Island had a special place in his heart – he and his wife lived on LBI for many years.
Tim was idolized by his wife and children. He provided them a life for which they are eternally grateful. Through his wisdom, he imparted invaluable lessons and offered guidance that shaped their lives. His words, actions, and legacy will live on in their hearts and inspire future generations.
Services will be held at Holmdel Funeral Home on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 11am-1pm. Burial will follow at Holmdel Cemetery at 1:30pm.
