Diane graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1974 and worked as a corporate attorney with Gould and Wilkie on Wall Street. In 1982, she left the practice upon the family moving to New Jersey, then Tokyo, and returning to New Jersey in 1986. As the children grew, she pursued her interest in culinary arts by completing a program at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. In 1995, Diane received a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science from Rutgers University and began a second career working with the Learning and Education Department at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Florham Park, NJ. Diane retired to Kentucky with Dick in 2012.

Diane is survived by her children Laura and David; their spouses Kunal and Andrea; and her grandchildren Vikram, Arya, Kiran, Megan, Jessie, and Courtney. She is survived by her sisters, Cecile and Christa.
Diane and Dick spent their retirement traveling and exploring the world together. Dick would return with stories that she never wanted to stop for the day, always wanting to see what was “up ahead” or “around that next turn.” Most will remember her quietly sitting and reading her books. Diane is remembered for her infectious laugh, her kind and gentle demeanor, and her content spirit.
A private ceremony is planned for Saturday May 30, 2026. Please reach out to the family for details related to a gathering on Sunday May 31, 2026.
