Gary and Elissa Kolackovsky left a message on October 2, 2022:
Our deepest condolences and sympathies to the Dennis family for the loss of Billy. Billy was a great guy who will be sorely missed. Whenever we met, he always had a smile, was happy, would have joke to tell, and was the kind of person who immediately became your very good friend. I really enjoyed hanging out with him (and Kathy, memories of the Seton Hall swim meet at Pittsburgh). We would always make an effort to see him whenever we went to Seton Hall in the years after Meghan and Jessica swam there. He would always meet us with a smile. Billy will be missed by more people than anyone can imagine. I am one of those people. Rest in Peace Billy ! Our love and sympathies, Gary and Elissa Kolackovsky

Susan and Jim Campbell left a message on October 1, 2022:
Dear Dennis family, Jim and I met your Mom and Dad when young Bill was swimming at Rutgers University and was a teammate of our son’s Matt and Ryan. Your Mom and Dad were easy to get to know and we spent many enjoyable times together at swim meets. He was a great supporter of all of his children's endeavors. It was obvious he was a caring and loving father and husband. We are saddened by his passing and the void it will create in your family. Sincerely, Jim and Susan

Alice Riehl left a message on September 30, 2022:
Billy was a character and proud of it. I knew him from Ocean Village in Florida, where he came down for a couple of weeks in February with Kathy and my friend and his sister-in-law, Ellen Poole. He loved going to Archie's for a beer and staring out at the ocean from the perch on shore. I once got stuff in an elevator with him in the apartment building we were all staying at. Turns out it was my fault and he never failed to bring that up. He was fun, irascible and a truly devoted family man. He will be missed.
