William C. Strandberg, 87, of Holmdel, passed away peacefully September 7, 2021 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
William was born and raised in East Orange, NJ. He attended Seton Hall University and then went on to NYU for his Masters. William began his career in 1960 as a wealth advisor for Mcdonald and Company. He had a passion for his work and his clients. William retired as a Vice President from Morgan Stanley in 2011 at 78 years old. His success, loyalty, integrity and calm and kind demeanor left a legendary mark of respect from all those who ever had the privilege of working with him.
William married the love of his life, Patricia Shea. The two began their life together in Montclair and settled in 1972 in Holmdel, NJ. William adored sharing every moment with his bride and they built a beautiful and blessed life and family together. Bill loved being outdoors and near any type of water. His interests included golf, skiing, history and travelling.
William is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, 5 children, 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. GBUA.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September, 14th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ. A mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday, September 15th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Catharine’s Roman Catholic Church, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel, NJ. Interment will follow at the Holmdel Cemetery, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ.
