Santos Freddie Colindres joined our staff as an intern in 2018. Born in El Salvador, Santos’ mother moved him to Long Branch in 1993 to escape a violent civil war. He graduated from Long Branch High School in 2011 and went on to earned an associate’s degree in business administration from Brookdale Community College, an associate’s degree in applied sciences from Mercer County Community College’s Funeral Service Program, and then his funeral director’s license shortly afterwards.

Santos is also a certified firefighter and driver, joining the Red Bank Fire Department in 2014. He got married in 2018 to Dana, and the couple enjoys spending time with their dog, Bear. Santos also likes hiking in Hartshorne Woods Park, riding motorcycles, going out to eat, and cooking his favorite recipes.
