Alexis Carretta McCusker is a Long Branch native, a student at Mercer County Community College, and a funeral director here at the funeral home. After graduating from Monmouth Regional High School, she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon, Georgia, then entered the U.S. Air Force in 2001. Alexis served as a Medic/EMT for three years, then entered the U.S. Coast Guard, where she served until 2012. In 2018, Alexis and her two children, Morgan and Olivia, returned to Long Branch. In her free time, Alexis enjoys knitting, crocheting, and painting.
