Lived in Long Branch since 1947, prior to that he lived in the shore area.
1941 he received his BS in Electrical Engineering from City College, NYC
1951 he received his MS in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, New Brunswick
In 1954 he founded with his partner Bob Martin High Fidelity Sound Center in Eatontown. The company grew from desinging home sound systems into the design and installation of commercial sound equipment, including the sound system at the Garden State Arts Center, Newark Airport and the music building at Princeton University.
He is a member of the Jewish Community Center.
He loved played tennis and enjoyed cabinet making as well as fine wood furniure.
