2 Key memories I have of Uncle Eddie: the picture of him as a pilot in WWII, which I keep in my living room because I am so proud of him, and the insights he shared with me of my own parents, reflecting his deep respect and loyalty he had for my own father, which I will never forget. Jill, Kim and Shan, Uncle Charlie and Mom, I send my love. Pat

I could not begin to recount the memories of my dear uncle Eddie(or uncle Brother as he way always known since our mothers never called him Eddie). One of things I do remember is his attendance at my wedding in 1965. He and Aunt Shirley were also in attendance when my Dad, Foster Greenwood passed in 2004. I will always be grateful to them both for that. He was always there when needed. My mother always regaled me with stories of his heroics during the war and how he had patented inventions. He was always bigger than life to all of us. We loved him and he will be sorely missed.

Our loving thoughts are with my cousins at this time. What a life well lived... We were so blessed to see Uncle Eddie at my Dad's funeral. He was his handsome and genteel self. My sisters and I always thought of him as the dashing and debonair uncle who was loving and kind. He always seemed like a movie start to us - glilder pilot, soldier, sailor - with a great sense of humor. I am glad we got to see him again. He came to visit my husband and I in Annapolis, MD with Aunt Shirley and of course, we had to go and get oysters for dinner! I have many many fond childhood memories of this amazing man from the Jersey Shore!
