Robert A. Parnell
August 19, 1957 - January 31, 2018

Robert A. Parnell, 60, Shrewsbury, passed away Wednesday, January 31st at home.

Born and raised in Long Branch, Bob was a 1976 graduate of Long Branch High School. He moved to Shrewsbury 10 years ago. Bob was an exempt member of the Phil Daly Hose Company for 40 years and a former Captain of the Long Branch Fire Department. He was a member of the Eatontown Elks Lodge #2402 and a parishioner of Star of the Sea RC Church.

Bob was predeceased by his parents James and Catherine Parnell. Surviving is his brother & sister-in-law Jim and Debbie Parnell; his sister & brother-in-law Debra & Steven Saffioti; his niece Samantha Saffioti and his nephews Nicholas Saffioti & his fiancée Samantha McGhee, James Parnell and Douglas Saffioti.

Visitation Saturday, February 3rd 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. The fire department service will be at 7:00 pm. Burial will be private. Donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the Eatontown Elks Lodge #2402, 216 Broad Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
