Robert J. Dyas, Jr. 69, of Hazlet, passed away July 3rd at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Roselle and Elizabeth prior to moving to Hazlet in 1966. Mr. Dyas worked as the Director of Forecasting for Loreal in Dayton, NJ. Robert was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved being with his family and will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Surviving are his wife of 48 years Cynthia Dyas(nee Petronzio), son Robert Dyas and his wife Amanda, of Mays Landing, 4 daughters Robin Hoffman and her husband Joseph, of Port Monmouth, Lori Dyas, of Jackson, Beth Pinto, of Belford, and Cindy DeVito, of Hazlet, sister, Lynne Hoffman, of Mullica Hill, 12 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, and a large extended family.

He was always so filled with love for his family and love for his time off...to be shared with his family. It is no surprise that he will be very missed. I had the priviledge of working directly with Bob for 5 years at L'Oreal in the Forecasting Dept and he taught me so much during that time. The two of us spent countless hours together over those 5 years and I have some wonderful memories of our time working together.
