A week or so before your mom went to the hospital, I met her at the Cobblestones for breakfast. She was literally in the pink: light pink outfit with matching, perky hat; she had lost a few pounds. TB wore a multi-colored shirt; he looked dapper in spite of one leg gone missing. Les and I had a long, upbeat conversation. With a big smile she announced she had gone back to church. She was basking in pleasant memories of a recent Disney Cruise; she seemed hopeful for better days to come. Did she know how close to heaven she was? I like to think of her as being welcomed there with open arms, with very special, loving bear hugs! In sympathy and with love, Aunt Jean
