Lisa B. Torres, 52, of Morganville, passed away at home on February 17th, 2015. She was born in Columbus, Ohio. She was a parishioner of St. Gabriel R.C.Church in Marlboro. She earned a Bachelor Degree in Business from Monmouth University, and a Bachelor Degree in Science from Kean College. Lisa was employed by the Old Bridge Township Board of Education. She taught at Jonas Salk Middle School, and was a mathematics teacher at Old Bridge High School. She had a kind and generous heart, and she loved her students. She had the ability to find a sense of humor in almost anything. She was also an avid reader. Lisa was predeceased by her parents, and by her sister Cheryl Jennings. She is survived by her husband Louis Torres, her son Joseph, daughter Kim, brother James Baechle, sister Paula B. Miller and her husband Joseph, sister Karen Smythe and her husband James, and by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, on Saturday February 21st, 2015 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. A funeral service will be offered at the funeral home during the time of the visitation. Interment will be private.
