Dorothy Beagan, 85, of Toms River NJ passed away on Thursday July 21st , 2011. Born in Bronx, N.Y, she lived in the Castleton Corners neighborhood of Staten Island, N.Y before moving to Toms River 41 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband James in 1994, then by a son James , and by a grandson James. She is survived by her son Michael and his wife Sharon Beagan of Holmdel, two sisters Rosemary Marchario, Ann Kumm Ashton, and four grandchildren Michael, Kelly, Robert, and Anthony. Visitation will be on Sunday July 24th from 1 to 5 P.M. at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM on Monday at St. Benedict R.C.Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, NJ. Interment Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
