Danielle Gallo left a message on April 2, 2010:
Gloria Gallo Horn was not only my aunt but my Godmother. I remember her coming to visit us, when we were young children, and before she was married. She was so intelligent, beautiful, glamorous and an independent working woman. All four of us, her neices, idolized her. I remember the room that she stayed in at our house smelling like Channel, even after she left, and the lingering aroma made me wish that she had stayed longer. I have two children of my own now and they had the priviledge of knowing Great Aunt Gloria too and were fortunate, as my husband and I were, to visit her the weekend before she died. Until the end, she had a beautiful smile for us every time she opened her eyes and an unbelievably sharp wit. She came up the name "Flashy Fiana" for the small stuffed giraffe my daughter, Ashley, gave her just 5 days ago. She is the only aunt I had - my mother, Jean, had no sisters and Gloria had only one brother, my father, Dan. Not having her leaves a big hole in the Gallo family. We love you Aunt Gloria and we miss you terribly.
Joanne A. Levine left a message on April 1, 2010:
Gloria will be terribly missed. She was timeless and one of the sweetest people I have ever known. My prayers are with Marvin and his family. I will cherish her memory and keep our many conversations in my heart forever. She was an angel on earth and will be smiling down on us from Heaven. Love Joanne Levine (Dr. Cecere's office)
