Rosemarie Arcomano Faccone, 79, passed away Friday, November 21st at St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, after a long battle with Ovarian Cancer. Mrs. Faccone was born and raised in Jersey City. She spent her childhood summers in Long Branch. Mrs. Faccone moved to West Long Branch in 1955. She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist RC Church and St. Michael's RC Church, both of Long Branch. Mrs. Faccone was the Shareholder Relations Manager for Monmouth Real Estate Investment Corporation, Freehold for 33 years. She was the first woman ever to serve on the West Long Branch Board of Education. Both she and her husband were former member of the Manasquan River Golf Club. Rosemarie was a crossword puzzle enthusiast, and an avid reader. Her main passion in life though, was her children and her 10 grandchildren. Throughout her life she loved to travel with her late husband Gerry, her children, and her grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 50 years Gerard F. Faccone, Sr. in 2001 and her son Gerard F. Faccone, Jr., in 2006. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Alexandra Faccone, West Long Branch, and David and Janice Faccone, Crystal Lake, Il.; a daugther and son-in-law Susan and Thomas Juliano, West Long Branch; and ten grandchildren, Gina Faccone, Gerard Faccone, III, Tommy Juliano, Todd Juliano, Jenni Juliano, Victoria Faccone, Robert D. Faccone, Jr., David Faccone, Jr., Daniel Faccone and Donald Faccone. Visitation will be Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Woolley Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street at Broadway, Long Branch. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday 10:30 AM at St. Michael's RC Church, Ocean Avenue, Long Branch. Interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch will be private at the family's request.
